Golf Cart Parts & Accessories (EZ-GO, Clubcar) - Southeastern Carts & Accessories

Everyone knows that accessorizing any new toy is usually more exciting than the actual toy itself. Golf cart accessories are no exception. Once you have made the BIG decision of which cart is best for you (EZGO or Club Car) and you have everything up and running, it’s time to let loose and start deciding what kind of machine you want your cart to be.

Aside from the obvious accessories (floormats and air fresheners) there are a lot more you can add to your golf cart than you ever would have guessed. For example, did you know you could instal a cell phone holder so you never lose it? Or a ball washer for those rainy days on the golf course? There is literally something for everyone, but the problem is deciding what you really need vs. what you really want.

Depending on which make, model and year of your golf cart, it may be considered a standard feature to have some of the accessories I am going to highlight. Others, maybe older models may not even come with floormats, so just be weary of that when purchasing. The most important accessories you will want to include on your cart (obviously depending on what the primary use of the golf cart is) will be:

Ashtrays & Lighters- there are heavy fines on golf courses for littering and many don’t even allow smoking, but for those that do, this is a must. The lighter also comes in handy for emergencies.
Bag racks- this can be used for golf bags, hunting bags, or just personal belongings and will clear up a lot of space in the cart for you.
Cell phone holders- you have one so you might as well have a place for it.
Club and ball washers- this will be a life saver if your cart is actually used for golfing
Coolers- for sandwiches or beverages. It saves the hassle of always having to pack one and you can be certain it will fit nicely in the cart since it was designed for just that.
Floor mats- there is a good possibility you can get these thrown in for free, but if not, they are available for purchase.
GPS system- if your phone has one, you should be okay. But, it might be handy to have just in case your phone dies or you lose signal.
Heaters- it gets cold in Mississippi or where ever you may be, so this will come in handy on those frigid nights. Remember, golf carts don’t have doors!

Storage- look for some sort of storage feature to hold all your extra belongings. You will thank me later.
